If there was a zero rating I'd give it. Worst experience I have ever had with a home repair service. He wanted to charge $475 to screw on a piece of soffit that had fallen off the secondf floor of my home. .

No complaint!
The plumber did what I asked for the price he quoted and cleaned up afterwards. Polite and helpful. I will be calling him again if I have a problem. A pleasant change from plumbers that don't show up.

Run as fast as you can from Ed the Plumber. A simple rodding job was over $800.00. and the utility sink was still plugged! They wanted an extra $548.00 to clear that. I called a local handyman, cost me $10.00 in materials and $70.00 for his time...won't get over this one for a long while. Never again.

My 87 year old mother has used this thief twice in the last year because she thinks he is nice. So far it has cost her $3500 to change a faucet, solder a coupling on, and replace nice ceramic tiles with ten square feet of stick down vinyl tiles. Probably a thousand dollars worth of work has cost her 3500. I wouldnt let this crook work on my doghouse. Ed, if you read this, you have a heck of a scam going on Senior citizens. You should be proud. Robert P.

BEWARE: Plumber wants to drain your pocket. I called Ed the plumber who has an ad in our church bulletin assuming that he was a fair, honest, and competent plumber to fix a sticky shut off valve. Upon entering the apartment with no tools only a clipboard. He had me pay the agreed upon $85 service call looked at the toilet and said $600 no breakdown of what he was going to do but the $85 would be deducted from the charge. Knowing that was an out of line quote because we have had this done before I told him no way. He said OK and just left with his money. I believe the scam is he comes in knowing the charge is high and people will not accept the service and he walks away with the $85 for doing nothing, not even carrying in his tools. Just want to inform other senior citizens of the many scams targeting seniors.
