RELIGIOUS FORMATION NEWS
During this season of Lent, when the child/ren received the sacrament of Reconciliation it is for a lifetime of regular participation in God’s love and mercy. Not only those that are receiving the sacrament of reconciliation for the first time but the children who have already made their sacraments. We as parents are obligated to see that they go to confession especially during this time of Lent, from the 1st Sunday of Lent until Trinity Sunday.
Friendly Reminder: Please check your child’s attendance , and have Baptism Certificate on file, do not wait for a letter stating that your child has to repeat because of lack of information in files. Too many tardiness becomes an absent, too many early dismissals becomes an absent. We are down to a crucial time where class and Mass attendance and prayers are being reviewed.

FIRST RECONCILIATION INFORMATION
We are excited and happy to partner with you and your child/children during this Prayer service follow by confession.
The process of preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation once again summons you and your children on the same journey. It challenges us to hear Jesus’ message of universal love and forgiveness and his call to discipleship. It invites us to reflect on our relationship with God and with one another and our need for forgiveness in the light of our own story, the story of God in scripture and in our church tradition. The focus of this preparation for the sacrament of Reconciliation, is not only for your child’s celebration of the sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time, but most importantly, for a lifetime of regular participation in this sacrament of God’s love and mercy.
