Pope Benedict XVI  proclaimed the Year of Faith to awaken Catholics around the world to deepen our relationship with God and live as joyful witnesses to the Gospel.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our parish to live out the Faith in a more focused, intentional and visible way.  We will focus on the areas listed below in our celebration of the Year of Faith.

• Pray for the Year of Faith at Sunday Mass

• Religious Education for Special Needs Children Starts in January

• Forty Hours Devotion for 40^th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade

• Day of Recollection for Married and Engaged Couples in February

• “Panera with the Pastor” for Parish Teenagers

• Hosting a Seminarians Dinner at the Parish in the Spring

• Lenten Spiritual Formation Program – “Walking Toward Eternity:  Daring to Walk the Walk”

• Encouraging Fallen-Away Catholics to Reconnect with the Parish

• Offer Every Parishioner the Opportunity to Grow in Their Faith Through Simple Daily Spiritual Practices

• Engage Parishioners to Volunteer Who Haven’t Done so Before

Mission Statement
We, the people of St. Philip the Apostle parish, bound together by the Sacraments and Gospels, exist to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in both action and spirit. United in our common belief in Catholic principles and through the use of our time, talent and treasure, it is our goal to build and strengthen our parish family.
