Feast of the Ascension is celebrated on Sunday 5/12 this year.

Photos for Parish Directory: Starting May 19 and for the following 3 or 4 weekends, we will be taking family photographs as a first step in compiling a Parish Directory.  It`s been a long time since St. Genevieve`s Parish published a list of members and phone numbers.  In the meantime, technology has advanced to the point of adding emails and photographs to the list.  Photographs will be taken in the Parish Hall.  If you cannot negotiate the steps, please leave a message at St. Genevieve`s at 997-4201, and we`ll figure out something that works for you.  We want to have everyone included!

The Cove Food Bank: Please bring non-perishable food and deposit it at the exits from the church to help stock our local food bank.  Those in need rely on us to help.  Let`s not forget the hungry.

EWTN: Check out EWTN on Direct TV Channel 370, Dish Network on Channel 261/9417, or the internet at http://www.ewtn.com/.  On my Droid, I can access it through the app called Tune In.  It`s free at the Play Store.  I "heart" Radio is the app for Apple devices, I`m told.

E-Mail: We don`t have everyone`s email address, so there is no way to quickly contact all parishioners.  Please, contact nancy.kirner@gmail.com if you want your email address added to the parish database.  We want to keep you informed of  items of interest to the whole parish.

Parish Council Meetings are usually at 7 pm in the parish hall each 2nd Tuesday of the month.  Next meeting is 5/14/13 at 7 pm.

Altar Society`s annual May luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd @ 11:30 a.m.  -  The luncheon will be at the Arrowleaf Bistro in Winthrop.  RSVP Joan Bassen, 996-3353
