Let us pray in the Holy Spirit for the needs of all the world.

For the holy Church: that the gifts of the Holy Spirit will inspire us to proclaim in every language the mighty acts of God, we pray.

For those newly baptized and those recently received into the Church: that they may know and share the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we pray.

For the sick and suffering: that under the gentle influence of the Holy Spirit they may find new resources of courage and patience, we pray.

For the members of this assembly, filled with the Holy Spirit: that we may proclaim the news of Jesus Christ in word and action, we pray.

Generous God, your Holy Spirit comes to us with gifts to share your Good News. Grant that we may appreciate and use those gifts well in your name, and graciously grant these our prayers through Jesus Christ our risen Lord.
