Mission Statement

In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. The Parish of Saint Leo the Great in Pawtucket is a community of worshippers, grateful to God for his call to Eternal Life, contrite when recalling the sins of this life, and confident that our prayers, made in the Name of Christ, bring God’s healing grace to us and to all mankind. Our personal and collective commitment toward the Father through Christ his Son and in the Holy Spirit is exemplified through our fidelity to our Roman Catholic tradition, as found in the Scripture and in the teachings of the Church, through our faithful and heartening celebration of the sacraments, especially Sunday mass, through the religious instruction of all parishioners, especially in our parish school and youth education programs, through evangelism within our families, among our neighbors and toward the larger world, through our involvement with the elderly, needy, sick and unborn, through our personal and financial support of parish and diocesan projects, and through our just and ethical conduct in dealing with all men and women.
