The George Findley Institute

Sponsored by National African American Catholic Youth Network Inc.

The George C. Findley, Jr. Training Institute, named in honor of the late Director of the African American Catholic Ministries for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, provides a professional tract that will enhance your skills in the areas of youth ministry, religious education, young adult ministry and evangelization from an Africentric perspective. Its mission is to generate ideas and foster candid exchanges related to these areas.

If the spark is gone out of your youth ministry, catechetical ministry or more focus in needed on multicultural ministry, the training institute is meant for you. If you can’t seem to find the Africentric resources you need and must adapt everything, YOU NEED THIS INSTITUTE! We do not want you to miss out on the golden opportunity of training the trainers. Our space is very limited, so the sooner you register, the better your chances are to participate.

The date for the George C. Findley, Jr. Training Institute is November 12, 2009, at the Marriott Indianapolis Downtown Hotel. There will be three training sessions offered simultaneously, with emphasis on youth and young adult ministry, evangelization, and lifelong formation.
