Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl ministry is made up of crocheters and knitters of all ages and experience levels. Prayer shawls are a gift given to provide comfort and healing to the sick, the lonely and the grieving. We meet on the second Thursday of each month in the new parish center from 10 AM to 12 noon and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We presently have 17 members and the shawls are being completed. If you know of someone in the parish who may be in need of a shawl please contact the parish office or Judy Herdman 908 782 7973 or email JAHerdman1@aol.com.
Materials used are knitting needles size 15 or crochet needle size N and Lion Brand Homespun yarn. Members work at their own pace at home or during our monthly meetings.
