Summer Religious Formation
Summer Religious Formation (SRF) is a cooperative continuing faith journey for those entering Grade 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7. This alternative program to the traditional RF program offers a total immersion experience. Students and parents, free from the pressures of school and most extra curricular activities, explore the richness of our Catholic doctrine, scripture, worship and traditions. To be eligible for this program you must be a registered and participating parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. The SRF program runs for two weeks during July at the SEAS Parish Center. Each grade meets for three hours per day for eight days. At the conclusion of the class instructions, each child is expected to participate in a minimum of three parish community gathering events and complete written reflections. These reflection sheets are a tool to aid parents in teaching their child to understand and process the activities. There are also age appropriate scripture reflections that are due to verify that your child/ren attended Sunday Mass. Since the community is extremely important in the life of a Catholic, families must complete these requirements in order for their child to get the most benefit of this program. The primary faith instruction for a Catholic family takes place at Sunday Liturgy; we encourage you to continue with your child on their journey every Sunday. To be eligible for the program you must be an active parishioner for one year, and must volunteer for the program.
Summer Religious Formation Information 2009
The Summer Program will be held July 13-16, and July 20-23. The AM Session is 8:45am-12:10pm and the PM Session is 12:45pm-4:10pm.

The Summer Religious Formation Program (SRF) is a privilege. All families wishing to be considered for the SRF Program (2009) need to be attending Mass on a regular basis. The only way for us to verify regular attendance at Mass is via the weekly envelopes. This is a normal procedure in most parishes for determining active participation. Please note no set amount or any amount is required. The use of the envelopes will be used for verifying attendance only. God monitors your attendance always, we began in October.
