 Religious Formation 
Religious Formation for the School Year Program 2009-2010 is in progress. If you haven't registered yet, please call Mariam Nawab ASAP at 284-2929 x 23 or MNawab@easeton.net
Our Parish currently provides Religious Formation [RF] to more than 750 children from Grades 1 through 8. Pre-registration is required! Those families requesting Religious Formation for their child/children must be registered parishioners and submit baptismal certificates for each child entering the program. First Reconciliation and First Communion normally take place during Grade 2; Confirmation is in Grade 8. Since parish policy requires a minimum of two years` formation before the reception of a sacrament, all children are encouraged to begin formal RF in Grade 1 and remain with the program even after Confirmation.
School Year RF Registration:
RF is held on site in our new addition. This change of locations brings about many wonderful opportunities which have not previously been available in our program: multiple day and time choices for most grade levels, classrooms decorated with our children`s own class artwork, easy accessibility to the church including special church tours and lessons, as well as a chance for our Confirmation class to meet on it`s own special day and time, eliminating the additional monthly mandatory Confirmation session that our program previously required. Fall Religious Formation Classes begin the week of (TBD).

Monday from 7 - 8:30 p.m.

Grades 1 - 7* will be as follows:
Monday from 4:45 - 6 p.m.
Tuesday from 4:45 - 6 p.m. or 6:30 - 7:45 p.m.
Wednesday from 4:45 - 6 p.m.

Religious Formation News
Religious Formation classes will begin September 14, 2009. A class list for the 2009-2010 fall religious formation program is posted in the Parish Hall on the wall. A teacher’s list is posted as well on the table.

Registration for the Fall Religious Formation program is currently in progress. Registration forms may be picked up and returned to the RF office during office hours, Monday-Thursday, 9-2. Please note for 1st Graders and incoming new students to the program you need to please send in a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate when you return the registration forms.
We encourage you to participate in your child’s Religious Formation by getting involved and signing up for any one of our school year ministries. We are currently looking for 2 Aides on Tuesday Afternoons, for grades 5 and 6; 2 Aides for Tuesday Evenings, for grades 1 and 6; 1 Aide for Wednesday Afternoons for grade 3; and Nurses for Monday Afternoon, Monday Evening, and Wednesday Afternoons”.
We are also in need of volunteers for organizing classroom closets, cleaning classroom furniture, and help in the office during the day. Please call the Religious Formation office if you can volunteer your time and talent for any of these ministries at 284-2929.
If you are interested in volunteering your time to be part of a “Childcare” team on Wednesday afternoons during RF class, please call the RF office at 284-2929 to sign up. We are currently offering childcare to Wednesday afternoon Catechists, Aides, and Hall Monitors.
