Catholics Come Home to St. Hugh Parish
Is someone you know or love been away from the church.
Bring them to St. Hugh, where we are family.
Funerals: The family of the deceased should rely on the professional skill of the funeral director, who will help with arrangements. Requests for particular Scripture readings and hymns should be made known to the rectory.
Baptism: is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month following the 10:30 Mass. Infants are to be baptized at the parish where their parents are active members. Please call the rectory to set up an appointment to attend a Baptismal class. N.B. Except in the case of an emergency, Baptism is not celebrated during Lent.
The Sacrament of Matrimony: is celebrated for current parishioners. Please contact the rectory at least 6 months in advance for arrangements.
Sick Calls: Call without delay. Emergency calls can be made at any hour.
Communion Calls: We wish everyone to receive the Sacraments at least once a month. Those, who because of illness or age, are unable to attend Mass for a month should receive the Sacrements in their own home. Ministers of Care are available for weekly calls. Please call the rectory for arrangements.
Faith Formation: Contact the Faith Formation Office for information about our Religious Education Program, Youth Group, and RCIA program.

Our parish patron, St. Hugh of Grenoble, was born in 1052 in Chateauneuf, France. Although a layman, he was very active in Church affairs and while attending a Synod at Avignon he was elected a Bishop. After ordination to priesthood and then to the bishopric, he worked hard to restore the sacredness of the diocese of Grenoble. He died on April 1, 1132.

"St. Hugh Parish is called by God to live, teach and serve as Jesus did." The parish exists to enable all its members, both young and old, to deepen their relationship with God and to help others both within the parish and in the world to draw closer to God and one another, thus becoming a community of believers living the Gospel message.
