Solemn Mass of the Lordís Supper, 7:00PM (IC) with Washing of the Feet and Procession to the Repository, with Adoration after Mass until 10:00PM, Night Prayer (Compline).

Note: No adoration during the day at SC; no morning nor noon Masses; no confessions today.

Good Friday

++Living Way of the Cross, 12:00PM (noon) on the grounds at SC.

++Traditional Stations of the Cross 3:00PM (SJ).
++Solemn Liturgy of the Lords Passion with Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion 7:00PM (IC) followed by

++Penance Walk to the Tomb of the Lord from IC to SC.

++Night Prayer (Compline) at the Lordís Tomb 9:45PM (SC).

Note:† (1) The Tomb will be open for private visits throughout the night into Holy Saturday; no confessions today.

Our Churches are Open for Prayer
Immaculate Conception: Daily, 7:00AM - 6:00PM
St. James: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 3:00PM, closed on Saturday; Sunday, 10:00AM - 5:00PM
St. Catherine of Siena: Daily, 7:00AM - 7:00PM

In June, 2006, three Portsmouth parishes, Immaculate Conception, St. Catherine of Siena and St. James were merged into one Corpus Christi Parish. (See the Full Address List above for the location of each church and/or click the churchís respective link on left side to get to a map.) Masses and Sacrament of Reconciliation are provided as follows:

Weekend Mass Times
Sat: 4 p.m.; Sun: 8:30 a.m. (Immaculate Conception)
Sun: 10:30 a.m.; 4 p.m. (St. James)
Daily, Mon-Sat: 8:00 a.m. preceded by Morning Prayer at 7:40 a.m. (St. Catherine)
Spanish Mass, Sun 2:00 p.m. (St. Catherine, depending on the availability of a Spanish speaking priest.† Check the calendar to confirm.)

And "oh by the way," our parish Mass is broadcast over Portsmouth Public Media TV (PPMTV) cable channel 98, which is available to all Comcast cable subscribers, Sundays at 10:00AM and repeated†Tuesdays/Thursdays at 7:00PM.† Note that this is a videotape of the prior Saturday evening Mass at IC, (i.e. NOT yesterday`s Mass), but it still helps our homebound "stay connected" to the parish.
