Holy Ghost Parish Mission Statement

Holy Ghost Parish is a community of Catholic Christians. Like any community,
we are a diversified group, bound together by our common beliefs, purposes, and goals.
We are the Church, the Body of Christ.
On our pilgrimage to Heaven we use our time, talents and treasures
in accordance with God`s plan for our lives.
Our first priority as a parish family is the worship of God,
in the Eucharist and the other sacraments.
We worship, pray and live together as a family, sharing the caring for all members.
We are also members of the extended family of the Deanery, and Diocese,
and the entire people of God.
Our second task is to educate all members of our parish family, young and old,
in the basics of our faith.
Finally, no family can live successfully in isolation,
and so our concern for the welfare of people must extend itself
even to those not of our faith.
Our work is to live the Gospel message as best we can,
and encourage and help others to do the same.
The Gospel message is to love God by loving others
not just in word, but also in deed.
