About St. Stanislaus Church

St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, was founded in 1919 as a Polish Parish in South Omaha, NE.

Our School has been a part of the cornerstone of South Omaha for 93 years through it closing in May of 2013.

God bless our students, parents, teachers and staff as they go on to new Consortium Schools, and other places bringing Christ to all they meet.

Thanks be to God for the many priests, sisters, lay teachers, parents and students who were part of our St. Stanislaus Community.

St. Stanislaus Church will continue to serve the South Omaha Community at 4002 "J" Street.

Join us in Worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus at Holy Mass!

You Did It for Me

Jean* saw a flyer for a local Catholic Charities senior center in her hometown. She thought immediately of her mother, Joan,* who was 90 years old and showing signs of dementia. Yet despite short-term memory loss, Joan remained intelligent and eager for social engagement. It was a perfect solution for a difficult situation. Joan began attending the senior center two days a week and enjoyed playing Scrabble. Jean received some respite and was able to take care of things like cleaning and shopping. “There’s no way to express what it means to our family,” Jean said.
