About St. Stanislaus Church

St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, was founded in 1919 as a Polish Parish in South Omaha, NE.

Our School has been a part of the cornerstone of South Omaha for 93 years through it closing in May of 2013.

God bless our students, parents, teachers and staff as they go on to new Consortium Schools, and other places bringing Christ to all they meet.

Thanks be to God for the many priests, sisters, lay teachers, parents and students who were part of our St. Stanislaus Community.

St. Stanislaus Church will continue to serve the South Omaha Community at 4002 "J" Street.

Join us in Worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus at Holy Mass!

You Did It for Me

Andrea,* an RN for 20 years, was asleep one night when her husband attacked her. The paramedics found no pulse at first, but Andrea fought to survive. She had suffered a traumatic brain injury. Her husband got 30 years behind bars. A decade after the attack, Andrea still feels unsafe when alone. She joined a Catholic Charities’ Call Reassurance Program. A volunteer calls her once a week reminding her that she is loved and that she needs to take her medicine. Andrea feels blessed now. She brings the staff home-grown tomatoes and sends birthday cards to other clients. She says she wants to give to others like others have given to her.
