Mission Statement
We, the people of St. Lawrence Mission, are a small but growing Catholic community serving Heber City and its surrounding communities. We call ourselves to conversion of heart that we might more effectively announce to all the Good News of Jesus, who died that we might live. United in Eucharist and one in faith, we seek to better educate and form ourselves to more fully live our Catholic identity and share with our children. We call ourselves to be a community of love where all are welcome, where all can become involved. We are a diverse community. We call ourselves to deep respect for the languages, cultures, traditions and histories among us, and we unite ourselves in the richness of the common human experience they represent. Thus fashioned and formed, we seek to serve and minister to one another and to our larger community, caring for those in need.

Fun Fact: Established on June 11, 1967, St. Lawrence serves the Catholic community of Wasatch County. It is housed in the old Mormon Ward House of downtown Heber, an historic structure adjacent to the town hall and park. The community is small but growing. Nearby is St. Lawrence Thrift Store, renown for its excellent selection of used clothing, furniture and memorabilia open Wednesday through Saturday.

You Did It for Me

English Version
Samundra Regmi, 11, holds a 3-day-old baby goat. He and his family are one of the many families who were affected by the Nepal earthquake that struck last April. The 7.8 earthquake destroyed more than 100,000 homes, uprooting life for families in both urban Kathmandu and remote mountain villages. Thanks to Catholic Relief Service and Caritas, families have been rebuilding their lives since day one.
