About Parish of Guardian Angel / St. Columba - Manhattan, NY

Visit website

Dear Friends:

Since 1845 the parish of St. Columba has served the needs of Westsiders spanning several generations and including countless ethnic groups. We are proud to be at the heart of the spiritual life of the Chelsea community.

It is my hope that this web site will inform you about our parish’s glorious past as well as the challenges of today and the promise of the future. We welcome all to our beautiful church and hope you will find us a welcoming community.

Rev. James Hauver
Pastor

You Did It for Me

English Version
Climate change is creating hotter, drier environments where crops wilt or never grow at all in parts of southern Africa. With a second year of harvests having failed in most of Zimbabwe, 2.4 million people are facing a lack of food. CRS is partnering with Caritas Harare in Zimbabwe to react quickly to the drought emergency by organizing a series of seed fairs to help provide farmers seeds for drought-resistant, quick-growing crops.
